Members

All parents/guardians of the St. Thomas Aquinas students and Religious Education students. Any other member of the parish is welcome to become a member.

Participation is always encouraged. If you would like to participate please attend any P.T.O. meeting and sign up for the activity you can help with throughout the school year.

Function

To provide information and a format by which parents can learn more and participate in school sponsored activities and/or projects. The goal is to continue to build a sense of community.

When & Where

Scheduled throughout the year on an “as needed” basis. Board Members communicate routinely to coordinate activities, meetings and functions as designated.

Activities

The board works in coordination with the school administration to help organize scheduled activities, which include:
PTO Parent Meetings - which can be in the form of large group meetings or a principal’s coffee.
Catholic Schools Week - work in coordination with other committees/individuals to help with activities throughout the week.
General School Maintenance Projects - Organize committees/individuals to help with specified repairs or projects needed at the school.
Other events - Organize committees/individuals to assist in school events such as Octoberfest, St. Thomas Aquinas Annual Ball, school receptions.
